Did you dig Rebecca Black’s new song ‘My Moment?’

If so, there’s more where that came from.

MTV reports that the teen who found fame with her YouTube hit “Friday” is set to drop her five song-EP next month and just wants fans to know she’s serious about her career.

“It’s crazy to think [about 'Friday'],” she told MTV. “I was really nervous about ‘My Moment’ coming out because I thought, ‘I don’t think I’ll be able to even beat ‘Friday’ myself.’ “

Black knows it won’t be easy, especially considering the very visceral reaction some had towards “Friday.” But she said she’s determined to make a go of it.

“Again, I wanted people to able to take me seriously because I felt like this would be the right thing to do,” she said. “I wanted to start building what could be a really great career, but this industry, it’s so unpredictable: You could be the big thing for a month or four months, and then kind of fall off the face of the planet.”
