Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger are going through a rough time with the revelation that he fathered a child with another woman, but the couple's son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, has reiterated his loyalty to his family.
In a note posted on his Twitter account Tuesday, Patrick, 17, also acknowledged the difficulty of facing such a painful upheaval, particularly in the public eye.
"Some days you feel like s----, some days you want to quit and just be normal for a bit," he wrote, "yet i love my family till death do us apart."
On Tuesday, Shriver issued a statement saying her primary concern is for the couple's four children, who span in ages from 13 to 21.
"I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal," said Shriver.
